Absences or Cancellations

There will be no adjustment in tuition made to missed lessons. To accommodate when a student must miss a lesson due to illness, family emergency or severe weather, if possible you may reschedule. If a lesson has to be cancelled, please call/text/email at least 24 hours in advance.

If schools are closed because of weather, lessons may or may not be cancelled. Road conditions often improve dramatically throughout the day so please call/text/email to discuss your options. Please note that lessons are not automatically cancelled for government holidays and school conferences. Please check the calendar if you have any questions. If a lesson has to be missed by the teacher, it will be rescheduled, refunded, or credited to a later month.

Lesson Time

Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend their child’s lesson. For a very young child, this is vital, as the parent will need to help with practicing what was taught during lesson.

Cell Phones

Parents and students, please turn off all cell phones unless using to film/record the lesson. Your child deserves your undivided attention. It is very distracting when they ring and potentially sends a message that something else is more important than the lesson.
