Andrea Oswald brings over 18 years of extensive experience to teaching the violin, having taught both in the public school systems and through private instruction. A dedicated advocate for music education, she successfully established and integrated a sustainable, low-cost violin program for grades K–5 at the Sauvie Island School in Portland, Oregon. Andrea’s teaching is informed by her deep commitment to professional growth; she has attended numerous Suzuki workshops nationwide and participated in masterclasses led by world-renowned violinists, including Itzhak Perlman and Gil Shaham.
